In 2012, founder Marco Ricci opened our doors with nothing but a wood-fired oven, hand-stretched dough, and a deep respect for Italian culinary tradition. Word spread fast through the island community, and what started as a tiny local spot quickly became a neighborhood staple.

Doors Open on Marco Island

Marco Ricci opens Marcos at 227 N Collier Blvd with a wood-fired oven, family recipes, and a dream to bring authentic Italian pizza to the Florida coast.

2014

First Local Award

Marcos wins "Best Pizza on Marco Island" in the Naples Daily News Reader's Choice Awards — the first of many community recognitions for our marco pizza craftsmanship.

2016

Kitchen Expansion

Rising demand leads to a full kitchen renovation, doubling capacity and adding a dedicated pasta station and catering prep area to serve larger events.

2018

Online Ordering Launch

Marcos goes digital — launching our online order platform so islanders and visitors can get their favorite marcos pizza with just a few clicks, for pickup or delivery.

2021

Farm-to-Table Partnership

We formalize our local sourcing program, partnering with three Southwest Florida farms to supply fresh tomatoes, herbs, and produce directly to our kitchen year-round.

2024

Franchise Program Launched
